Dwayne Bravo, born on 7th October 1983 ,is a Trinidadian all-rounder who represents the West Indies Team in International Cricket.
Bravo is particularly known for his aggressive batting in the middle order, and for his ‘at the death’ bowling. He is also known for his variety of lengths he can bowl at.
He is the elder half brother of Darren Bravo.
On 31st January 2015, Bravo announced his retirement from Test cricket. He continues to play ODI’s and T20Is.

During Zimbabwe’s tour to West Indies in 2013, Bravo was made the captain and in that tour he created following records:
1.) He holds the record for the world’s best bowling figures in an ODI match as a captain in a bilateral series.
2.) He holds the record for the world’s best bowling average (runs conceded per wicket taken) and bowling strike rate (number of balls bowled to take a wicket) as a captain in a bilateral series (among those who have taken 10 or more wickets in the same series).
