CPL 2017: Sunil Narine came to open for Trinbago Knight Riders against Jamaica Tallawahs and struck the ball so hard that a part of his bat got torn.
This all happened in the 4th over of Knight Riders with Mohammad Sami bowling his second over. Narine, who had already hit one boundary in the over, backed away on the third delivery and tried to go over the covers. But the ball ended up hitting the toe-end of his bat taking a part away with it.
Narine straight away signalled to the dug out and asked for a new bat. Tallawahas skipper Kumar Sangakkara too was curious on seeing a part of the bat broken.
